

Apostle Briggs was born and raised in Montgomery, AL, the birthplace of the Civil Rights Movement. She inherited the passion for advocating for the discriminated, marginalized, and subjugated. As a result of her exposure to and impact of notable Civil Rights Activists and Leaders on the nation and the world, she endeavors to walk in their footsteps to leave an indelible mark on her metron of society. She believes in racial and gender equality, equity, inclusion, and diversity. She believes God loves diversity and that we are all equal in His sight. The Red, White, and Black is a civil rights/human rights advocacy ministry. The foundation is the Word of God and the documents of our Founding Fathers. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is her greatest civil rights inspiration.

Apostle Briggs believes in the freedom and human rights of all people. Because Jesus is the Great Emancipator and Liberator, Tammy walks in His footsteps to ‘set at liberty all those who are bound’ (Isaiah 61).
